MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
Monday, Nov. 21st, 2011 @7:00pm

PRESENT: Florence Schroeter, Rose Tavtigian, Debra Arrieta, Gloria Visgilio-Lupi,
Tony Foran, Pat Jones, Librarian, Lisa McMahon and Charles Casella
UNEXCUSED ABSENCES: Viki Brinius
CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of October 17th, 2011 meeting were approved as submitted
LIBRARIAN’S REPORT/LIBRARYEXPANSION
- Funding for the proposed library addition was approved by the State Bond Commission
- The Mayor convened a meeting of Department Heads on November 18, 2011 to discuss the steps necessary to begin the Library Addition Project.
OLD BUSINESS
- The Librarian and the Commission reviewed the Architect’s plans for the Library Addition noting that there are, on cursory review, many changes that will be necessary to improve Library function.
NEW BUSINESS
- The Commission approved the following meeting dates for 2012:
- January 9th, February 13th, March 19th, April 16th, May 21st,June 18th, July 16th, August 20th, September 17th, October 15th, November 19th; and December 10th , 2012
ADJOURNMENT: The Commission adjourned at 8:45pm.
